This one really hits home Carolyn, but I appreciate your practical honest suggestions.
So now I am going to take my coffee and go and find a quiet place and invite Yeshua in to that time with me.

basil pennington writes in, 'a time apart' about getting up early early. you don't do it all the time, but occassionally get up well before the world and just be silent before God in the stillness. i did a morning with this in mind a month or so back and it was wonderful. one of the best mornings i've had in awhile. this might be an alternative to the retreat house. i've found it hard to get physically away, sometimes it's just easier to be alive when the world is not.
